**What you'll do**:

- Perform daily accounting tasks (focus on supplier invoices and bank, credit cards, processing of payments, etc.).
- Handle and post monthly closing activities according to local GAAP (IFRS/US GAAP) standards in close cooperation with other departments/functions or local branch offices (e.g. Bank, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting).
- Collaborate with accountants on getting monthly financial reports finalized (providing all necessary information, clarifying discrepancies, etc.).
- Regular reports and ad hoc requests to public authorities and institutions (e.g. Statistical bodies, National Banks, Fiscal authorities).
- Take on requests from suppliers and stakeholders within Adverity (e.g. Finance and Controlling departments, Finance Managers).
- Contribute to cross-functional accounting, process, and reporting optimization and digitalization/automation projects.
- Ensure compliance and internal control with regards to financial statements.

**What you’ll need**:

- Master's Degree as Certified Accountant.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS accounting.
- Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) or other ERPs.
- Strong data entry skills and high proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making mindset with attention to detail.
- High organizational skills, hands-on mentality and a team player attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Fluency in English. German is a plus.
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
