**(Senior) Underwriter I Casualty CSEE**(M/F/d)**

**What you’ll be DOING**

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Profit-oriented underwriting of liability risks and detailed analysis of risks in the CSEE region with a focus on Turkey, Middle East and Greece
- Management of own portfolio with support of monitoring tools, Portfolio maintenance and upkeep
- Customized conception of insurance contracts and facultative reinsurance agreements in English
- Customer-oriented processing of business, maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as active development of new customer relationships
- Control of loss trends, initiation/implementation and control of recovery measures
- Collaboration in product development
- Observation of changes in the relevant legal environment
- Cooperation and close exchange with Casualty's international colleagues
- Cooperation with Client and Distribution Management and involved underwriters of other lines of business
- Cooperation with AXA XL colleagues worldwide
- Participation in trainings and other qualification measures
- (Expert) Presentation delivery
- Independently gather and evaluate information on special events in the field of work that are of interest in terms of new business, portfolio, organization and competition.

You will be reporting to the Underwriting Manager Casualty CSEE, based in Vienna.

**What you will BRING**

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- University or technical college degree or comparable qualification
- Experience in the Southern / Eastern European insurance market an advantage
- Experience in coordination and management of international insurance programs and facultative reinsurance business
- Experience in international facultative Underwriting
- Fluent in written and spoken English (B2+). Other languages from the Southern / Eastern European region an advantage.

- Conceptual strength and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team & awareness of interculturality
- Experience in project management
- Very good MS Office skills
- Willingness to travel.
