**(Senior) Global Pulp Technologist (M/F/d)**:

**Purpose & key responsibilities**:
- You will take on a global key role in the continuous development of production methods & processes in pulp manufacturing and drive/support pulp expansion projects (incl. têxtile waste recycling initiatives).
- As an expert for production technologies, you will lead/support feasibility studies, find best practices and define standards for technological processes and operational procedures.
- You watch external technology developments, forecast future trends & developments through global technology scouting and drive/support internal technology developments in cooperation with R&D.
- As part of the Global Pulp Operations & Technology team you maintain technology networks with the production sites and support the local site managers in implementing new processes & troubleshooting (in form of short term business travel assignments).
- You conduct technology benchmarking amongst the pulp productions sites in cooperation with local experts and define technology standards where sensible.
- You drive/support continuous improvement processes with standardized methods (Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma) and take over the management of global technology projects.
**Our expectations**:
- University degree with focus on chemical engineering, process engineering or similar.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the chemical industry, ideally in pulp production as well as engineering experience.
- Profound project & process management skills; ideally experience in working in an international environment and leading global project groups.
- Proactive team player with very good communication & analytical skills and a solution-oriented workstyle.
- Innovative thinker who enjoys (re)designing processes and implementing ideas.
- Very good command of English (German is a plus) & willingness to travel worldwide.

The yearly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 60,000**.** with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
