Finance Business Partner

As we experience significant capability uplift across our leisure division, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a data focused Finance Business Partner to join our Melbourne CBD team.

This pivotal role acts as the primary point of contact for the provision of all finance services to the division, delivering an effective balance of financial management, reporting, business strategy and advice, while positively influencing the commercial performance of this key customer group.

**A day in the life**

With a flexible attitude to work, you’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and performing BAU finance tasks and providing project management support to the division, as well as taking the lead on business case development and quality control. Highly developed stakeholder management and relationship building skills are critical components to your success in this role, as are strong commercial acumen and refined negotiation and influencing skills.
- Primary point of contact for provision of commercial analysis and decision support on the management of Labour costs across the Leisure’s portfolio
- Lead implementation of productivity improvement strategies across the Leisure portfolio, including delivery of Kronos system enhancement project
- Embed labour analytics and insights and drive best practice consistently across the Leisure portfolio on all aspects of Labour Management
- Provide commercial support to P&C function and Payroll team in implementation of changes to awards and enterprise agreements
- Own Labour forecasting and budgeting process and oversee Labour KPI framework

**We’re looking for**
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Hospitality or Retail background required.
- Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Experience in management of Labour costs and FTE
- Kronos system knowledge required.
- Solid SAP and TM1 skills required.
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- At least 6 years’ relevant post-graduate business experience including accounting or commercial management role
