To strengthen our MM Packaging Organization, we are looking for a motivated **Director Operations Technology (M/F/d). **As a Director OT, you are responsible for the management, development, and implementation of operational technology in our manufacturing organization. You lead a team of professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure that OT systems meet operational requirements and production targets are achieved. You will also be responsible for the security, integrity, and efficiency of the OT infrastructure.

**Your Role**:
**Tasks**
- You develop and implement OT strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the MM Packaging division with 50+ plants worldwide
- You implement monitoring/maintenance tools to maximize our machine availability across plants
- You collaborate closely with other departments (Group IM, MMP Automation and Process Optimization, MMP Packaging Technology) to identify improvement potentials driven by OT
- You evaluate new OT trends to their potential for MM Packaging operations and incorporate them in a mid-term vision for the MMP OT department
- You manage the OT department including budget and team
- You identify strategic OT business potentials per plant based on a centralized as well as standardized OT catalog
- You develop a global OT standard for new machines and retrofitting
- You are screening the market and competition permanently to develop the MM OT-strategy and the targeted OT-innovation level

**Accountability**
- You are responsible to build up our OT security roadmap across the division and ensure the timely implementation across all plants, meeting external (audit) and internal requirements
- You are accountable for the security and integrity of the OT infrastructure
- You are accountable for a stabilized integration of OT solutions into existing and new production systems and processes
- You are accountable for sourcing, selecting, developing, and implementing of new OT systems and related technologies (HW, SW)
- You are accountable to ensure that the chosen and implemented OT systems comply with IT governance standards and security standards
- You are accountable for the financial performance of OT initiatives and ensure they deliver the expected ROI

**Your Profile**:

- You have completed your studies in the field of Engineering and/or Computer Science or related
- You have gained min. 5 years of professional experience in leadership roles in the packaging or consulting industry, with a focus on operations technology
- You are experienced with software development methodologies, hardware systems, and network infrastructure
- You are eager to work independently on the OT strategy and governance model in close interaction with your peers and other stakeholders
- You have a proven track record in managing several projects and tasks in parallel and you are familiar to solve several time-critical tasks in a calm and effective way
- You have knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to technology and IT/OT security
- You are eager to learn and build-up know-how in packaging operations in order to ensure the OT strategy adds to the competitive advantage of our production network
- You have experience in leading transnational teams and are keen to develop and expand the team in line with OT requirements
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills on C-level, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Your willingness to travel within Europe and overseas (e.g. USA) is at least 30%
- You have excellent communication skills in German and English (C2-level), both oral and written
- You have an in-depth understanding of OT technologies/systems, including SCADA, PLC, MES, etc.

For this position, an annual compensation package starting at € 130,000 gross all-in is offered according to your qualifications and professional experience.
