If your answer is YES to these questions, we have an exciting job opportunity for you as **Finance & Operations Director** in Vienna, Austria**.** **About the role and the department** As our Finance & Operations (F&O) Director for the Austrian affiliate, you will be reporting to the General Manager and play a key role as a member of the Austrian management team. You will lead a team of highly engaged employees and be responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting and Tax, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Procurement, Fleet and IT. Your main responsibility will be to: - secure strong financial performance of Novo Nordisk Austria and lead the financial planning processes with line of business - Undertake financial assessments of proposed investments, launches and business opportunities in close collaboration with the organisation - Secure daily commercial operations, including fleet management, accounting, supply chain/logistics, wholesaler relations, etc. - Secure efficient procurement operations according to business needs - Act as a financial advisor to the General Manager and the Management Team - Drive various projects and ad-hoc tasks in close co-operation with other functions throughout the organisation - Ensure compliance with relevant tax, accounting and commercial regulations and with Novo Nordisk, global and local Business Ethics Regulations - Be an active member to the Austrian Leadership team, a role model in leading and ensure continuous development and motivation of the F&O team In addition to your affiliate responsibility - you will be part of the F&O network in “North West Europe” Business Area, with a dotted line to the VP Finance & Operations of the area. **About you** - You hold a relevant academic degree within Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a similar - You have minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience working with Finance partnering - You have knowledge and experience in the major finance processes - You have outstanding clear business mindset, analytical skills and turn data into meaningful insights - You have exceptional experience and strong affinity to work with numbers, processes, tools, and various IT systems - You bring outstanding problem-solving and planning skills with you, as well as strong project management skills and a proven track record of successful project implementation - You have a one-team approach and “all hands-on deck” mentality - You are an experienced people leader with strong management skills and team player qualities - Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills with an open personality and high networking ability - You have excellent English written and spoken language skills; German language is of advantage but not mandatory. **Application and contact** If you believe you are qualified and are willing to take the challenge, please submit your updated CV with cover letter in our platform.
