Team Lead Accounting

**Location**:Vienna and surrounding area, work permit for Austria required
**Language requirements**:English and German fluent
**Experience requirements**:5-8 years of professional experience in accounting under UGB or German HGB, preferably in a dynamic, high-growth company
**Gross salary range**: EUR 90k (depending on qualifications and experience)
**Employment type**:Full Time employment, All-in Contract **Reporting structure**:You will report directly to our VP of Finance and work closely with the entire Finance Team.

**The Role**:Join fiskaly and take the lead of our Accounting Team We are a dynamic, fast-growing company developing innovative cloud-based solutions for electronic receipts and invoices, revolutionizing the compliance landscape. As Team Lead Accounting, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing our financial processes. You'll lead a team of talented accountants, drive the development of the department, and work closely with company leadership.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Accounting Team.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for all fiskaly entities in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and conversion to IFRS
- Continuously optimize and develop accounting processes, including the introduction of new technologies and automation solutions.
- Ensure complete tax compliance of the corporate entities and implement a comprehensive transfer pricing framework for efficient tax management
- Run all single entity and group level audit by collaborating effectively with external auditors, tax advisors and internal teams
- Act as the go-to person for complex accounting and audit issues and provide operational support to the team.
- Continuously optimize and develop accounting processes, including the introduction of new technologies and automation solutions.
- Contribute to budget planning, cash flow management, and the preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies and all external regulatory reporting and compliance along with the compliance team
- Lead projects related to the implementation of new accounting systems or processes.

**Required Qualifications**
- Experience in consolidation under IFRS
- Solid knowledge in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams
- Proficiency with BMD or similar ERP systems
- Experience in the SaaS industry and familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
- Interest in implementing AI-powered tools and automation technologies in accounting
- Strong initiative, independent work style, and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication, assertiveness, and team spirit
