We’re on the lookout for an inspiring and driven **Head of Brand** who thrives on shaping and evolving visual identities & stories, has a passion for creativity, design & story telling, and enjoys leading a team towards delivering exceptional branding across all touch points.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Define, maintain, and adapt our brand’s identity to reflect the company’s mission, values, services, products and goals while ensuring consistency across all customer and internal touch points.
- Act as the final decision-maker for all branding-related projects, including website, apps, physical products, ads & marketing communication, merchandise, and internal environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, People & Culture and other teams to embed branding seamlessly.
- Stay on top of design and branding trends, ensuring that Journi remains competitive and visually relevant, while introducing innovative approaches to branding strategies.
- Inspire, coach, and guide the Graphic Design Lead and Media Design Team to achieve creative excellence, ensuring their growth aligns with company goals.
- Further build, develop and grow your team according to company needs.
- Develop and implement workflows, templates, and tools to ensure efficiency and quality in branding efforts while addressing bottlenecks proactively.
- Oversee metrics like recognition, consistency, and trust, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.

**YOUR BAG OF TRICKS**:

- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and inspiring creative teams, mentoring individuals, and fostering collaboration.
- Branding expertise and extensive experience owning and evolving visual identities across digital and physical platforms, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong story telling, marketing, design and creative leadership skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, P&C and other teams.
- Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining creative quality.
- Ability to align branding efforts with long-term company goals, staying proactive about branding opportunities and challenges.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite.
- Up-to-date knowledge of branding trends and the ability to integrate innovative tools and strategies into branding efforts.
- Strong command of English (German is a plus).

**NICE TO HAVE**:

- A background in design studies or a related field
- Experience working in a startup or tech company
- Previous roles as a Creative Director or Art Director
