Junior Marketing Specialist

The Marketing and Communications team in Vienna, Austria is looking for a Junior Marketing and Communications Specialist to successfully position the Mastercard brand in Austria.

Your role:

- Implement and learn about developing marketing and communication strategies,
- Actively support event organization (including press conferences, sponsorship events and webinars)
- Prepare marketing solution presentations, by gathering data and other relevant content
- Writing and editing press releases and other communication material for external and internal audiences
- Tracking communication metrics and collate print media and digital/social media coverage and templates
- Liaise with agencies and other third-party suppliers

All About You:

- Experience in working within a marketing and communications team
- German mother tongue with an excellent command of English
- Enthusiastic, creative, proactive and eager to learn
- Highly motivated, intellectually curious and a strong communicator
- Great organizational skills
- Be a team player and show initiative in contributing ideas
- Ability to navigate multi-channel communication platforms and sites
- Ability to multi-task; prioritize working within tight deadlines
