Master Thesis: Tactile Sensing for Humanoid Robot Grippers

In your new role you will:
- Gain a deep understanding for one **sensing principle**suitable for **tactile sensing**and **collecting requirements**for robotic grippers
- Design a **working prototype**and integrate it into a **robotic system**(mechanical, electrical, and software integration)
- Document the **results**by writing and submitting a master thesis
**This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.**

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 9 months
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed master student from the field of **Electronics**, **Mechatronics**, **Robotics**, **Systems Engineering**or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
- A strong ambition for **sensing**, **robotics**and making things work
- All completed exams
- Some knowledge and experience in **PCB design**, **electronics prototyping**and **embedded programming**:
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in English, German is advantageous
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)Reference letter (optional)
