**Our business**

**Your role**:

- Develop and deliver on a holistic executive communications strategy, with SVP Communications, supporting all internal and external communications for the CEO and EB members.
- Act as a key point of contact for all internal/external communication activities of the EB, incl. preparation, alignment with related functions, and execution.
- Manage and orchestrate the news flow and holistic positioning of the CEO across traditional media, digital, employees, and all external speaking platforms.
- Provide strategic counsel to EB members on selected public/media engagements and key internal communication activities per business division, in close partnership with People Engagement & Transformation team.
- Accountable for executive speech-writing (AGM, press conferences, public keynotes, panel talks, video messages, town halls etc.) and related communication briefings for CEO.
- Develop media strategy and briefings for CEO interviews, in close partnership with International Media Relations.
- Lead OMV's internal/external communication efforts on international signature thought-leadership platforms/CEO conferences, e.g. World Economic Forum, etc. from an executive positioning point-of-view.
- Oversee and steer overarching EB communications towards employees in close partnership with People Engagement team.
- Steer and develop communications scenario planning for key reputational topics / issues relating to Board of Management and/or Supervisory Board.

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master’s Degree in Communications or other relevant discipline
- You have a minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong cultural awareness and proven ability for lateral thinking
- International experience in strategic communications in a blue-chip multinational environment
- Experience of working directly with C-suite executives as strategic communication counsel and/or Chief-of-Staff
- Deep knowledge in integrated communication strategies and proven track record in Newsroom-style corporate communications / way of working
- Cross-industry experience in multiple communications disciplines and the ability to work in complex matrix & virtual organizations
- Adept at working across hierarchies and in cross-functional international teams
- Strong team player, open mind-set, high integrity
- Affinity and deep understanding of thought-leadership and executive positioning approaches
- Attention to detail and precision of language
- Excellent editorial skills, incl. ability to articulate complex topics succinctly in various communication formats (traditional and contemporary)
- Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty
- Fully bilingual editorial proficiency in English and German
