**Your role**:

- As a storyteller, you help to uncover and shine a light on the great achievements, progress and hidden champions in our organization of 22,000, striving to reinvent essentials for a sustainable living.
- Develop and steer execution of new OMV content strategy, focusing on key reputational topics reflecting Strategy 2030 and related business priorities.
- Develop and craft compelling corporate narratives/storylines and identify thought leadership topics for OMV to position in key markets across internal and external channels.
- Drive insights generation and communications benchmarking for decision making in strategic communications.
- Steer development of communication plans and collaterals in cross-functional and cross-company workstreams, building on the OMV Group content architecture (built on Strategy 2030 and pillars of sustainable energy, sustainable mobility and sustainable lifestyle)
- Establish a new organizational set-up of content curation and execution, as well as develop editorial processes across OMV Group Communications
- Establish and lead a cross-functional and cross-company editorial team, enabled through a state-of-the-art collaboration platform
- Execute new Communications Strategy, interfacing Corporate Brand & Partnerships, Executive Communications, and key channel teams (Digital Communications, Int’l Media Relations and People Engagement)
- Establish and exercise content ownership and content strategy for the business segments Energy, Fuels & Feedstock and Chemicals & Materials, across all internal and external communications platforms, in close partnership and alignment with the businesses
- Create and lead multi-channel reputational communication campaigns in close partnership with channels teams
- Scout, develop and execute key external thought leadership platforms nationally and internationally, in alignment with core communications pillars and business strategy

**Your profile**:

- You have a Master Degree
- You have a minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience
- International experience in strategic communications, deep knowledge in developing integrated communication strategies and reputational campaigns in a blue-chip environment
- Strong cultural awareness and open mind-set
- In-depth communication experience from diverse industries or agency side would be a plus
- proven track record in Newsroom-style corporate communications with strong collaborative mindset and cross industry experience in multiple communications disciplines, incl media relations, executive communications and digital communications
- ability to work in complex matrix & virtual organizations, adept at working across hierarchies
- Prior experience of leading large international teams (solid / dotted lines)
- excellent communicator and public speaker with the ability to communicate complex matters succinctly
- Passionate about building high performing teams and developing/coaching diverse talents
- Adept at providing strategic counsel to Executive Board
- strong team player, curious with open mind-set
- Values-driven leadership and integrity
- affinity and deep understanding of thought leadership approaches and excellent editorial skills
- native-level English language proficiency
- ability to work under pressure and ambiguity
