limited for 4 years:
**University Assistant / PhD Position (M/F/d) in the fields of Molecular Biology**

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Untersuchung von Strategien zur Optimierung von Biokatalysatoren über Zell
- und Protein Engineering
- Entwicklung von Methoden zur biotechnologischen Nutzung nachwachsender Rohstoffe
- Entwicklung von Selektionsassays über Zell
- und Protein Engineering sowie Ganzzell-Multikaskadenreaktionen und Auswertung der Ergebnisse über moderne Sequenziermethoden.
- Entwicklung von Enzymen über Protein Engineering und ihre biochemische Charakterisierung.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Abgeschlossenes Master
- bzw. Diplomstudium Biotechnologie, Chemie oder eine vergleichbare Disziplin
- Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse der Biochemie, Molekularbiologie und Biotechnologie, sowie auch Mikrobiologie und Chemie, insbesondere mit anspruchsvollen Methoden der Molekularbiologie wie Genomeditierung
- Multi-Enzymkaskaden zellfrei bzw. Ganzzell
- Mikrobiologische Arbeitstechniken
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit autotrophen Mikroorganismen
