Role Overview
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the knowledge holder of the Bodyshop and Paintshop manufacturing processes, technologies and sequences
- Support production team during industrialisation phase to improve production quality and efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes to deliver to cost, quality and delivery performance targets
- Interface with external stakeholders to understand technical issues and assess next steps
- Coordinate with Engineering team and external partners on BIW/Paint related workstreams
- Track, manage and resolve technical issues related to BIW/Paint manufacturing
- Assist and support cross functional launch team to resolve build issues
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in the automotive sector (experience on a BEV is an advantage)
- Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and self-starter with a keen eye for detail
- Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
- Ability to form strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of relevant business systems (i.e.: Microsoft Office)
- Working knowledge of appropriate CAD software (i.e.: CATIA)
- Knowledge and understanding of the vehicle development process, milestones and deliverables is an advantage
