The Head of User Experience (UX) is responsible for defining and driving the overall user experience strategy for the company’s products and services, leading a multidisciplinary team to create intuitive and effective user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

**What you will do**
- ** Leadership and Strategy**: Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy aligned with the company’s vision and goals, leading, mentoring, and growing a multidisciplinary UX team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, and advocating for UX best practices and a user-centered design approach across the organisation.
- ** Design Vision**: Establish and communicate a clear design vision that aligns with the company’s brand and product strategy, ensuring consistency in design language and style across all products and platforms.
- ** UI/UX Design**: Oversee the design of user interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing, collaborating with product managers, marketing, operations, and engineers to integrate UX into the product development process from concept to launch, and ensuring the UX team uses data-driven insights and user research to inform design decisions.
- ** Customer Research**: Direct and conduct user research to understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points, utilising qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather insights and validate design concepts, and implementing usability testing and iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
- ** Prototyping**: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups following product concepts and the brand book, ensuring that designs align with the company’s visual and functional standards.
- ** Customer Journeys and Personas**: Develop detailed customer journeys, flows, personas, and scenarios to guide design and development, using these tools to understand and map out the end-to-end user experience, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- ** A/B Testing**: Plan and execute A/B tests to compare different design options and optimise user experiences, analysing test results and using findings to inform design improvements and product decisions.
- ** Product Analytics**: Leverage product analytics to monitor user behaviour and measure the effectiveness of UX initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement in user engagement and satisfaction.
- ** Competition Insights**: Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging UX practices, using these insights to benchmark and improve the company’s UX offerings.
- ** Product Benchmarking**: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of UX efforts, continuously monitoring and optimising the user experience to improve customer satisfaction and engagement.
- ** Industry Standards**: Ensure all UX designs and implementations adhere to industry standards and best practices, including accessibility guidelines and usability principles, to provide a high-quality user experience.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful, user-centric products and experiences.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX projects and methodologies.
- Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) and user research techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles
