**Job Purpose**

Data is a value driver and needs to be managed as any other corporate asset. Data privacy is increasingly turning from a “hidden” function into a service provider, quick responses to the requests of internal departments within A1 Group and their digital initiatives are essential. We are searching for a team player who is strong minded, resilient, and communicative.

**What you do**
- You are supporting and advising the Group Data Governance Officer regarding a groupwide strategic privacy governance approach.
- You will independently manage complex cross-thematic and cross-functional programs and projects on an international level in A1 group.
- You are strengthening the privacy community within A1 TAG and foster knowledge and best practice sharing.
- You are representing A1 TAG in specific national and international events.
- You support the execution of the data privacy strategy in alignment with the Group Data Governance Officer.
- You ensure strategic support to related governance functions within the group structure on data privacy matters.
- You execute controls and activities related to legal and regulatory compliance in the data privacy framework and best practices across the industry.
- You coordinate, monitor & align tools and practices regarding data protection within A1 Group.
- You raise awareness of new data privacy developments and market trends.
- You ensure and foster compliance regarding the processing of personal data from A1 Group.
- You communicate internal data protection policies and processes to stakeholders of A1 Group.
- You drive topics and have strong influence on ensuring timely execution in all OpCos.

**What you offer**:

- 5 years of relevant experience in privacy domains
- Knowledge of Data Privacy Management Principles and best practices from GDPR & industry
- Bachelor’s in law - Master and/or Doctorate level preferred with a focus on data privacy
- Ability to independently solve problems
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Strong technical aptitude with passion to learn enterprise IT and data privacy best practices
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Profound MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Advanced/proficient level at English

The minimum annual gross salary for this position according to the current collective agreement is EUR 50.000, -. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
