**About us**

Livin Farms is an internationally oriented, fast-growing young company. We commercialise and develop products and technologies for the next generation of agriculture: insect farming. Our core product, Hive PRO Insect Factory is a turn-key solution for the food, feed and recycling industries. Seeded with Seedlings (baby larvae), Hive PROs turn industrial quantities of organic products into insect products that our customers market in the animal feed market.

**General Goal of the Role**

As technical (non-production) Purchasing Coordinator (anlagebau), you are in charge of developing the processes and structures to purchase parts for building our insect factories at competitive conditions. Procure machines and assembly parts, as well as related services and service contracts for building our insect factories globally, including facility services. You also procure consumables and logistics for our operations to produce and ship our live animals to customers. You leverage spend across the business, creating and executing strategic cost savings for projects and driving out cost. Maintain and manage the suppliers, ensuring internal stakeholders are complying with the Purchasing processes, while supporting Business goals.

**Key Activities of the Role**
- Participate actively in all our customer projects from the bid phase to project completion as well as in the make/team/buy decision in all product development projects
- Support development projects from a purchasing perspective in the product development process
- Manage Product intake & outflow in cooperation with development and product management departments
- Select and classify suppliers in terms of risk management
- Acquire Strategic supplier and evaluate/audit them regularly
- Participate in ongoing reporting
- Participate in the development and implementation of purchasing guidelines and processes
- Manage the end to end purchase processes at livin farms, including services and facility management, guaranteeing the service level agreements with the internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify cost reduction opportunities
- Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions of contracts
- and business-led projects and initiatives.

**Your Profile**
- Completed commercial or technical training with a focus on purchasing or Bachelor Degree with a technical and/or commercial background (engineering, Business admin, others)
- Proven working experience as purchaser/ procurement coordinator/lead (+4 years)
- Comprehensive knowledge about sourcing market knowledge, contract negotiation, price negotiation, and strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Experience with hard negotiation
- Ability to work with multiple projects and teams
- Leadership skills to be able to manage third party contractors
- Main competences: Negotiation, Time management and organization, decision making. excellent communication and teamwork skills. flexibility and resilience.
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Fluent German & English

Mandatory information in Austria: The Minimum gross-salary for this position is EUR 3500.

We’re willing to overpay, depending on your professional work experience and qualification.
