**Your role at RBI**:

- Monitor and interpret emerging trends, technologies and business models, assessing their implications for our clients and our bank.
- Analyze long-term market dynamics, including risks and opportunities, influenced by factors such as regulatory shifts, socio-demographic changes and geopolitical dynamics.
- Perform interdisciplinary research to identify industry-wide transformations with potential banking implications.
- Articulate research outcomes and recommendations for action to senior stakeholders, shaping strategic initiatives and innovation priorities of RBI Group.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including local banks, other RBI research teams and innovation units (i.e. Venture Developers, Blockchain Hub, Elevator Ventures, etc.), to weave long-term perspectives into tangible innovation projects.
- Engage with external experts, think tanks, and other organizations to gather diverse perspectives and information.

***Your core competencies**:

- A degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience ideally in the field of strategy, innovation &/or foresight, possibly background across various industries.
- A person driven by interdisciplinary curiosity and adept at linking diverse trends to the banking sector.
- Genuine interest in the financial services industry and the cultural and economic landscape of Central & Eastern Europe.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill vast amounts of information into clear, strategic insights.
- A self-motivated learner, eager to dive into unfamiliar territories and quickly become conversant on new topics.
- An effective communicator able to convey complex ideas with clarity.
- A team player fostering a culture of innovation.
- Fluency in English; German and/or a CEE language are beneficial.
