For our Finance team, we are looking for a hands-on Junior Accounting Associate (M/F/x) who will support all accounting operations and will step by step develop in a rapidly changing environment.

**Who you are**:

- You have a commercial educational background (HAK, HLW, etc.) and/or have ideally completed an Accounting certification (WIFI)
- You have gained first work experience in Finance/Accounting and ideally have at least 1-2 years of experience in a generalist Accounting function
- You are familiar with Austrian accounting principles and regulations
- You ideally maintain knowledge of auditing and local Austrian Tax Law (VAT and Income Tax)
- You love to work with numbers, data and statistics
- You are very keen on accuracy and quality, as well as paying attention to details
- You are a fast learner and a great fan of efficiency
- You enjoy working on repetitive tasks as part of your daily routine
- Your German and English skills are excellent
- You want to grow fast and take on responsibility
- You don’t use the term “That doesn’t work”
- You care about the world and want to spend your time making a difference

**What you'll do**:

- You support the preparation of the bookkeeping and help to prepare the monthly and annual financial statements
- You monitor outstanding items & dunning
- You assist with the monthly outgoing invoices and independently handle tasks in this regard
- You check payments of incoming and outgoing invoices
- You help with the implementation of a travel expense tool, take over handling the invoices and daily allowances, maintenance of the system (e.g. adding new users, adapting workflows,)
- You support on optimization and automatization/digitalization of accounting and controlling processes

**Additional factors we appreciate**:

- You have worked in a consultancy, tax or corporate finance
- You have international experience in accounting
- You know how marketplaces work
- You have experience with automation and modern accounting software solutions
- Multiple European languages are a plus
