Central European University (CEU) is a research-intensive university specializing in the social sciences, humanities, law, public policy and management. It is accredited in the United States, Austria and Hungary with entities in these countries. CEU offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs delivered in English () and has approximately 800 employees and altogether 1000 contractors (such as visiting faculty).

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Tasks
- Collecting and managing the recruitment needs of CEU entities and acting as a first point of contact during the entire selection process for vacancies
- Managing and updating the contracts of recruitment agencies, executive search companies, student recruitment companies
- Actively supporting departments/units in developing job postings, job descriptions, position requirements and during the entire selection process
- Placing advertisements
- Working with external partners such as representatives of job ad platforms or external agencies
- Performing phone screenings
- Assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and attitude during interviews
- Following CEU's related policies including GDPR regulations and supporting CEU colleagues at other Departments and Units in this regard
- Supporting the Contracting Team with information for the offering process
- Preparing reports for recruitment budget planning and Austrian authorities, etc.
- Preparing and updating internal HR reports on recruitment
- Recruitment-related brand communication

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position in academia, or at an international company (corporate or agency side)
- At least 2 years’ experience in interviewing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of and experience with the recruitment module of an integrated HR system
- Recruiting experience in Austria
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Advanced internal client communication skills
- Discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information
- Multicultural orientation and open-mindedness
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Interest in creative problem-solving
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize

**Advantage**:

- Knowledge of the local labor market
- Previous higher education sector experience
