- For this role we believe you have minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Customer Experience or similar and delivering results as well as minimum 5 years of experience in leading and influencing co-workers and teams.
- Further, you have experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector or B2B/ KAM.
- You have broad knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision as well as in IKEA tools, processes and cycles as well as of operational plans and goals including follow up on KPIs.
- Your knowledge of the possibilities to activate sales and the use of the commercial calendar and relevant associated store activities as well as how to optimise the customer experience.
- When it comes to the local market you have broad knowledge about the local B2B market environment, expectations from customers today and tomorrow to secure that commercial and service offers meet customer demands.
- You are skilled at prioritising and making decisions with speed and simplicity.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role as Country IKEA Business Leader, you are responsible for leading the IKEA business team in positioning IKEA as the first choice destination for businesses to enable extraordinary growth as well as for driving the complete offer for business customers in the local market with emphasis on SME’s.
You will:
- Be responsible for setting local strategy and key actions for IKEA business in order to achieve business goals
- Actively collaborate with other functions in Commercial to meet the business customer needs, especially Marketing and Home Furnishing & Retail Design (HF&RD), Service fulfilment and Customer fulfilment organisation to secure promised delivery in time and quantity
- Continuously gather information and insights of business customer needs and feed these needs into Group Market Support (and sometimes Group Digital product teams) for global solution development
- Implement global solutions and contribute with creating local solutions where necessary to create an excellent business experience in all channels and drive sales to business customers
- Be responsible for reacting to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) in coordination with HF&RD & CFF and Service fulfilment to maximize the chances of landing lucrative contracts
- Lead and coach stores in their interactions with businesses to drive sales and conversion
- Actively drive acquisition of new business customers and build up long term relationships with key accounts
- Act as a member of the Selling team and proactively contribute to Selling plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
- Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact (for example Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture)
- Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals
- Measure performance of IKEA business to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and to ensure performance excellence throughout the year
- Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
- Be an active player in working on sustainability initiatives within selling through ensuring sustainability priorities are reflected across offering (e.g. Home Solar, Energy Efficient Lightning)
- This role requires some travelling

For this fulltime position we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from € 3.765 (on fulltime base with an ALL-IN contractual agreement). We are willing to pay more depending on experience and qualification. We are also open for a part-time arrangement.
