This is your role.** As a key pillar of the EU Green Deal the EU Taxonomy and similar regulations will have a major impact on legal reporting requirements of the next decades. It is transformative as it affects investment decisions and thus impacts the way companies conduct their business. - The journey has just begun, and the importance will significantly grow over the next few years. We see a huge potential for innovative solutions that enable our Siemens businesses to successfully strive towards future company steering, where environmental, social and governance factors gain importance alongside financials. As a foundation for future company steering, it needs to be defined how non-financials can be integrated into financial data and processes. Therefore the "E2E assessment logic" of EU Taxonomy and other ESG KPIs needs to be understood and it needs to be evaluated how to implement it across the IT system landscape with a special emphasize on the role of the ERP as the origin of financial and material / product master data. - As the solution lead, you are responsible for the offered services, solutions and platforms along the whole lifecycle from consulting over design and build to operate, which includes the portfolio management, the financial management and also the related projects in the sustainability domain. - You will be expected to contribute through design and implementation to the global CEO-led business transformation program of Siemens Sherpa X, on the sustainability related topics. - You play a key role in the design of the future non-financial reporting, planning and steering solutions by identifying new demands, gathering requirements, and designing solutions. - Your broad ERP experience from logistics to finance and reporting and your solid knowledge about financial accounting, controlling and reporting processes as well as enterprise data and system architecture is the foundation to define new concepts and drive innovation in this role. - You are the key contact and trusted partner for our customers. You interact regularly with a diverse group of internal stakeholders across Siemens (e.g. finance, sustainability, businesses) and understand their needs. - As a thought leader, you continuously improve and share your learnings and successes within your community of worldwide IT experts. **Use your skills to move the world forward. We are looking for**: - You have a university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or economics with strong technology focus. - You have domain expertise in sustainability and / or finance (accounting, controlling, and closing) and a sound knowledge of the latest ESG related non-financial reporting requirements and regulatory developments like EU Taxonomy. - Strategic thinking and a clear customer-oriented communication and consulting behavior are part of your DNA. - You have experience in managing various stakeholders and their needs. With your broad experience in requirements management, you can turn customer needs into digital solution ideas. - You have experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle: demand management, requirements engineering, solution design and implementation, (agile) project & service management. Long-standing project and service management expertise based on an agile mindset and an agile way of working. - Excellent technical understanding with a broad experience in enterprise and cloud solution architectures and software development. - You have a strong digitalization background (e.g. in automation, AI, make value out of data) and think in end-2-end processes. - You have an entrepreneurial mindset and have the demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment delivering value to your business partners. - You are fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus. **We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
