- Are you passionate about Health, Safety, Environment & Quality? Do you want to drive group-level energy and environmental management, shape and implement strategies to improve performance, compliance, and cost efficiency across different locations?
- In this role of Group Expert Energy & Environment you work closely with location leadership, asset and technical development managers, local energy and climate teams, and group experts to drive continuous improvement
- Your key responsibilities are to:

- Co-develop and implement group-wide energy, utilities, and environmental strategies ;
- Set and monitor energy and environmental performance targets aligned with group ambitions ;
- Ensure reliable, cost-effective energy and utilities supply while reducing environmental footprint ;
- Lead compliance with ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications and regulatory requirements ;
- Coordinate energy/environmental assessments, benchmarks, and reporting ;
- Collaborate with asset development teams on location energy plans and roadmaps ;
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide tools to improve energy and environmental outcomes ;
- Deliver expert guidance, training, and support to enhance sustainability and HSE compliance.

**About you**
- Master’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent (minimum 5 years university degree) ;
- Total 10 years’ experience in the chemical process industry with a minimum 5 years in chemical process development, process engineering, or asset development roles ;
- Strong background in HSEQ management with proven knowledge of production processes ;
- Knowledge of energy and/or environmental management ;
- Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, with solid understanding of energy policy and market structure
- Effective coach and communicator; able to give and receive feedback, manage conflicts, and inspire teamwork ;
- Fluent in English (business level) and local language(s).

Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law, we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 108.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
