**Company Description**

ROPA Investments is a diversified holding company with a focus on mining exploration and development. We privately operate over 40 portfolios across Africa, Latin America, and SE Asia, and controlling globally significant deposits of antimony, bauxite, titanium, uranium, and iron ore. We have also privately invested globally in agriculture, industrial technology, and port infrastructure.

**Role Overview**

We are offering an in field paid internship for passionate and driven Geology students or recent graduates focused on gold and antimony exploration projects.

Interns will gain hands-on field experience in geological mapping, sampling, and early-stage exploration techniques — all while being closely mentored and supported by Senior Geologists throughout the program. This is a 6 weeks/shift (students should be willing to work 6 weeks).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in geological mapping, rock chip and soil sampling, and field observations.
- Record and report geological features accurately using field tools and software.
- Support data collection for resource modeling and target development.
- Work safely and efficiently in remote field environments.
- Collaborate daily with Senior Geologists and exploration teams to learn industry best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Geology, Earth Sciences (no geophysicists).
- Strong academic grounding in mineralogy, structural geology, and field methods.
- Prior field experience (academic or professional) preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors in rugged conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
- Must reside in Austria or in Germany.
