We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Global Premix Formulation Manager to lead our Pet Food Premix Formulation Team, overseeing premix formulation for pet food blend plants, labeling, NIR, and ingredient approval for Europe and North America. This role includes special assignment to manage the transfer of premix formulations to dedicated pet food blend plants, supporting compliance initiatives related to new formulation software, regulatory affairs, safety, and environmental requirements. Additionally, the position provides support for account management activities, including premix samples, competitive evaluations, and training. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop new premix formulations covering existing and new products as well as new innovative concepts.
- Manage the premix formulation process and interpretation of customers’ premix specifications and conversion into production recipes.
- Maintain and develop standard procedures for formulations (conversion factors, overages, etc.).
- Steer the premix labeling process by Formulation Services staff, including responsibility for regulatory compliance.
- Be responsible for approval process for third party raw materials for use in premix plants. Technical support for Purchasing/Supply Chain.
- Supervise the reviewing and managing shelf-life extensions for third party raw materials including risk assessment and analytical co-ordination where applicable.
- Provide technical support for Account Managers, Customer Care, Technical Marketing, and Commercial Services regarding formulation, labeling, quality and regulatory issues.
- Manage SDS and documentation requests for premix customers.
- Support training of TTH staff.
- Provide formulation guidance to premix plant managers when reworking returned or rejected batches of premix.
- Identify hazards and risks associated with handling and blending new or existing raw material in premixes.
- Ensure compliance with/fulfills all SHEQ requirements, follows the Life Saving Rules
- Act in such a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
- Show leadership by working to SHEQ standards and encouraging colleagues to work to the same standards.

**Projects/special assignments**:

- Management of premix formulations transfer (including optimization of raw materials and recipes) from Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH) blend plants to the global pet food platform for premix formulation management.

**YOU BRING**
- Master of Science Degree, preferably animal science, nutrition or technology with a specialisation on Pet Nutrition.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of premix formulations, and 2 years working with premix production personnel or 5 years’ experience in pet food formulation.
- Practical experience in premix operations.
- Knowledge of ISO, HAACP and cGMPs
- Strong competences in formulation software (BESTMIX, SAP formulation tools, BRILL).
- Working knowledge of EU and US feed regulations.
- Well-proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
