To enhance our successful **Purchasing team** at our **Headquarters in Leoben, Austria**, we are looking for a passionate

**Buyer / Purchaser (f/m/d)**

As a Buyer / Purchaser, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient supply chain setup, including the implementation of best practices for demand-to-buy processes, efficient purchase order management, and mitigating delivery risks.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Establishing a safe, flexible, and compliant supply chain setup
- Ensuring the consistent implementation of best practices for demand-to-buy processes
- Efficient management of purchase orders (processing, confirmation, delivery and tracking)
- Initiating urgent response protocols and tracking progress during material shortages
- Adjusting material safety stock and shipping frequency in response to actual situations
- Defining and regularly updating a list of high-risk materials
- Proposing multiple resource and business contingency plans for optimized supply chain management
- Collaborating with designated stakeholders to conduct compliance transaction studies
- Facilitating cross-functional communication for supply chain decision-making
- Ensuring transparency in global procurement and plant purchasing
- Generating weekly/monthly reports and ensuring proper planning

**Your Profile**:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the field of supply chain, such as purchasing/SCM/project management, etc.
- Strong team player with an open mind, fast learner and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and experienced in using SAP and Ariba
- IT affinity
- Proficient in English and German languages
- Experience in new plant setup projects preferred
