Responsible for the day to day checking of all building systems for correct operation (electrical systems, lighting and the function of A/C, heating systems etc.), technical housekeeping standards and potential H&S hazards.

any rectification work, porterage and minor fabric repairs to be carried which has been raised through the helpdesk and service delivery arranged through the Mitie office team.

To be proactive in recognising the need for updates and improvements, potential upgrades of building systems or building structures.

To be proactive in seeking ways of reducing energy consumption and reducing the posts carbon footprint.

To support other service delivery teams in their daily tasks within the local team. To assist in all service delivery to ensure consistency and proactive service to Authority.


**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**:
The ideal Technician will exhibit the following essential technical competencies for the role:

- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in dealing with customers.
- Able to co-ordinate, manage and carry out scheduled monthly PPM and reactive services end-to-end through in-house delivery and subcontractor.
- Collation of service data, detailed reporting on works done.
- Be holding current relevant qualifications.
- Have a recognised training or apprenticeship scheme.
- Experience in dealing with sub-contractors and supply chain
- Understanding of help desk/call centre processes and work flow
- Experience in providing/undertaking various maintenance and minor fabric repairs
- Specific experience in manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills
- German language on native level.
- English knowledge on daily communication level.
- Attention to detail
- H&S approach
- Being flexible in stepping in and covering variety of tasks within the team.
- Holder of a full and valid driving licence
