**What you will do**

As a member of the **Inside Sales and Digital Customer Engagement team, **you will support the business by engaging with customers and implementing the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement.

This role is a permanent role starting asap.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Sales Specialist selling to and engaging with customers remotely (‘Sales Rep without a car’)
- Actively sells Tecan’s products by using telephone/videocalls and appropriate digital channels
- Achieve sales targets by territory planning and opportunity management
- Part of the European Inside Sales & Digital Customer Engagement team
- Implement the company’s activities around Digital Customer Engagement in the territory Continuously increase personal efficiency and productivity**What you bring along**
- Degree in Life Sciences or Medtech
- Sales in European life sciences or laboratory diagnostics market
- Sales Budget responsibility
- Proven Track record
- Ability to understand the needs of clients, staff and co-workers
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and outcome-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively and to engage with customers using the telephone and digital channels
- Be able to work with people in a matrix organization or geographically remote
- Recognize cultural differences
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player
- Fluent in Italian and English. Another European language is a plus.
