Junior Procurement Manager

**YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors and select the best suppliers
- Evaluate vendors´ quotation to ensure that they are in line with specifications required for the project
- Auditing and monthly reporting of implemented procurement policies and guidelines on a global level (travel costs, contracts, etc.)
- Initiate, manage and lead various projects
- Be in charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as issuing and following up on and negotiating with suppliers on a global level up to contract finalization
- Process orders, execute leasing and manage and drive down the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure to pay process
- Work in full compliance with the company procurement policy, educating and driving the correct behaviours of business stakeholders
- Provide administrative and other support to the Head of Global Procurement

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Previous experience in negotiations and supplier management is a must
- Ideally 2 years in a procurement position or 3 years in an administrative/support role
- University degree with focus in Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Good understanding of procurement procedures as well as industry standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English is a must, German and other languages an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative
- Analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
