**Aufgaben**:

- This role will report to and support the Head of Aviation Development in the identification of new route/market opportunities and in converting these opportunities into sustainable and viable routes and services for Vienna Airport. A particular focus of this role will be in developing and analysing market data and intelligence to support route development.
- Determine, negotiate and secure new route opportunities and build relationships with airlines in Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and South Asia (passenger and cargo)
- Increase connectivity from existing and new accounts to achieve growth targets of Vienna Airport
- Airline Relationship Management
- Identify, analyse and develop new route opportunities and attract new routes and airlines (passenger and cargo) to Vienna Airport
- Source and secure route opportunities through high level negotiations with airlines across Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and South Asia
- Understand and track airlines’ key strategies to identify opportunities for Vienna Airport, as well as other industry trends
- Proactively build and maintain strong working relationship with new and existing airlines and third parties (regions, tourism authorities, other airports, etc.) and deliver compelling business cases for presentation to airline executives
- Represent Vienna Airport at aviation exhibitions and events, with the view of bringing in new opportunities
- Manage and develop existing commercial relationships with airlines (e.g., marketing cooperations)
- Complete and maintain contractual agreements with various airlines

**Profil**:

- Have experience of working within a challenging commercial environment and will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work
- Have a proven track record in airline industry/airport business
- Good analytical, negotiation and organisational skills
- Confident and able to work under pressure, handle numerous parallel activities, time management skills
- Effective communication and relationship management skills
- Experience in proactively building and maintaining relationships across the globe
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in Vienna
- The ability to potentially work non-traditional hours
- International travel will be required as part of this role on a regular basis
- The role requires excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, the Route Development manager is advising closely the Management team at Vienna Airport
- Basic German skills
- Professional working profiency in German

**Ausbildung**:

- Completed university or college degree/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, international business, finance/economics, aviation management or a related field
