Cash Management Specialist

Nature and aim of the position

The holder of this position reports to the Centralized Finance Services Manager and performs cash management operations in line with SOX, group, and, local policies. The team leader performs the same functions as the specialist but has a more senior profile in terms of experience and can lead the team that is currently being set up.

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage disbursement accounts and all associate activities to make vendor payments.
- Monitor cash flow of companies as well as of corresponding banks.
- Coordinate with GL managers and GT to help manage everyday surplus cash flow.
- Maintain records for bank accounts and related activities.
- Evaluate all bank charges to ensure accuracy on monthly basis.
- Monitor and resolve all pertinent issues for bank.
- Coordinate with various departments and manage opening and closing of bank accounts.
- Analyze cash management processes and recommend solution for all depository and disbursing activities.
- Prepare and analyze all ad hoc reports.
- Assist AR team and implement all stop payment requests
- Prepare records of all cash flows and forecast requirements.

- Other Stakeholders in the Cash Management Process (local and group)

Profile
- Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting or other related fields
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable process (or some other equivalent Finance process) gained through financial accounting experience for at least a year, and more for the team leader role
- Proficiency in ERP systems, knowledge in Exact/Medius an advantage
- Strong process and compliance orientation
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Highly skilled in verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English required
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail a must
