Business Development Manager

The company is a global leader in mechanical pipe joining innovations and is the world’s leading producer of mechanical pipe joining solutions. We work in more than 140 countries across diverse business lines including oil and gas, chemical, mining, power generation, water and wastewater treatment, military and marine, as well as commercial building and fire protection. We are a leading mechanical product manufacturer of innovative infrastructure products and infrastructure projects including couplings, movement devices, tools, and installation methods.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for sales and promotion of the company product range in the territory
- Report on weekly basis to his superior on activities and marketing information in the territory.
- Achieve budgeted sale and results
- Create demand at owners, Engineering offices, Contractors in order to:
- Demonstrate the proper installation of product & tool range
- Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the System by owners and Engineering Consulting companies
- Ensure that the proper knowledge of the products and system is present in the territory, through the usage of adequate means such as seminars, training, technical literature and technical support.
- Liaise with the local company distributor and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.
- Visit job sites and follow up of installation process of the company system by the contractor. Train the contractor’s personnel in usage and installation of the company system if required.
- Handle product claims in cooperation with Corporate Engineering department
- Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables on customers
- Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
- Strong specification sales experience
- Good knowledge of the heating market for commercial buildings services
- Sales acumen, negotiating skills and drive to succeed
