Responsibilities of a **Strategic Purchasing Manager** at VusionGroup:

- This position is operating in close connection with international teams in Asia, Europe and America.
- Leading all aspects of supplier negotiations, including contract terms, pricing and performance management
- Sourcing and vetting qualified suppliers for the key components
- Effective utilization of RFQ techniques to identify, select and engage with suppliers to ensure competitive market advantage
- Implementing supplier-sourcing strategies to ensure high quality, on time delivery and cost competitiveness
- Supporting planning, design and operational activities, and working closely with Product Management, Engineering Team, Operational Procurement as well as Finance and Legal Department resulting in strategic supplier relationships that achieve cost effective procurement decisions and overall business plan objectives
- Implement risk mitigation strategies in the volatile supply market to maintain a resilient supply chain

**Qualifications** Education**:

- BA/MA degree in economics or technical studies plus 2+ years experience or equivalent

**Experience**:

- 2+ years experience in similar field
- Industry experience encompassing purchasing, project management, legal and supplier management

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent spreadsheet and math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Analytical thinking with a positive attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs
- Empathy & relationship building skills are indispensable for this position

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3.077 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual qualifications.
