A leading provider of next-generation AI business solutions in the rapidly growing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) space, Cortical.io is looking for a **Sales Manager** with a **successful track record in enterprise software sales **to help us accelerate the market penetration of our innovative products in Europe. This is a position based in **Vienna, Austria**.

**YOUR MISSION**
Your primary focus is to drive new business opportunities at large enterprises, both in existing markets like insurance and in new industries such as logistics, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. To accomplish this, you actively prospect and qualify potential customers, initiate new sales activities, and manage the sales cycle from initial meetings, demos, and proposal preparation through contract negotiation and closing. You interact with prospects and customers to understand their objectives and needs and build long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. You are performance-driven and work tightly with Marketing and Customer Success to leverage business-side feedback toward better sales activities, marketing campaigns, and products. Networking on social platforms and at conferences gives you additional opportunities to generate new leads and close new logos.
**What you will do**:

- Identify and connect with new prospects in line with our business goals
- Identify customer pain points and use cases for our solutions
- Create and deliver presentations, demos, and concise proposals for Proof of Concepts (POC) or Pilots
- Close initial deals and work with our Customer Success team to win cross
- and upsell opportunities
- Monitor the performance of your activities by actively using our CRM, forecasting and sales automation tools
- Participate in the continued optimization of our sales process
- Contribute to our product roadmap to meet customer and market expectations
- Work closely with Marketing to align sales and outreach activities
- Leverage and expand existing networks, including at events and trade shows

**Who you are**:

- 4+ years of successful B2B software sales from lead generation to key account management, ideally in a high-tech/SaaS environment
- Interest in AI and automation
- Willingness to work in a growth-driven, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage multiple and highly complex sales projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills and self-starter attitude
- German and English language fluency
- European Union citizenship or authorization to work in Austria
