**Experimental Physicist with Optics Experience at Quantum Industries GmbH, Wien, Österreich**:
Quantum Industries GmbH is seeking a highly motivated Experimental Physicist with expertise in optics, laser physics, and quantum key distribution. As part of our team, you will be responsible for planning and building prototypes and lab systems, testing and characterizing components and complete systems, coordinating technical aspects of sub-projects, and procuring components. You will also engage in discussions with suppliers and contribute to the overall development of the company beyond your specific role. Good communication skills in both German and English are required.
- Planning and construction of prototypes and laboratory systems
- Testing and characterization of components and complete systems
- Discussing specifications with suppliers
- Procurement of components
- Technical coordination of sub-projects
**Required Profile**:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the following qualifications:
- Degree in Physics, with a focus on quantum optics, quantum key distribution, or laser physics (preferably with a PhD or initial professional experience)
- Experience in building and optimizing optical systems in a laboratory
- Pragmatic approach to complex topics
- Strong technical understanding and mechanical dexterity
- Independent and structured work style within a team
- Interest in the company beyond one's own area of responsibility
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
