Master Thesis „Technologieakzeptanz von Smart Border Controls“
- Center for Technology Experience
- Im Rahmen des Horizon 2020 Projekts METICOS entwickelt das AIT Vorhersagemodelle für die Akzeptanz moderner „Smart Border-Control“ Technologien (= Biometrische Sensoren, E-Gates, etc.), welche an Grenzübergängen vermehrt zum Einsatz kommen.
- In dieser Masterarbeit werden Sie sich intensiv mit dem Thema „Erhebung und Modelling der Akzeptanz von Smart Border-Control Technologien“ beschäftigen.
- Eine Fragebogenstudie soll die Akzeptanz ausgewählter Smart Border-Control Technologien durch das zuständige Grenzpersonal erheben und die wesentlichen Einflussfaktoren identifizieren und quantifizieren, welche für Akzeptanz bzw. Nicht-akzeptanz ausschlaggebend sind.
- Die gewonnenen Daten werden mit Hilfe von statistischen Methoden (Structural Equation Modelling, Machine Learning) in Technologieakzeptanzmodelle übergeführt, welche später im Kontext der abschließenden Pilotversuche des Projekts evaluiert werden.
- Als Teil unseres Projektteams unterstützen Sie uns bei folgenden Tätigkeiten:

- Konzeption und Design einer Fragebogenstudie zur Erhebung von Technologieakzeptanz.
- Durchführung und Auswertung der Fragebogenstudie in Kooperation mit europäischen Partnern.
- Entwicklung von Technologieakzeptanzmodellen und Vorbereitung ihrer Evaluation im Rahmen der abschließenden Pilotversuche.
- Sie sammeln Erfahrung in den Bereichen Studiendesign, statistischer Auswertung und Modellierung
- Sie trainieren wissenschaftliches Arbeiten und haben die Möglichkeit Erfahrungen mit wissenschaftlichen Exzellenzträger:innen aus dem Technology und User Experience-Bereich zu diskutieren.
- Sie entwickeln einen zentralen Lösungsbaustein in einem europäischen Projekt und haben die Chance Ihr Netzwerk auf nationalem und internationalem Niveau zu erweitern.

Als
**Ingenious Partner **zeichnet Sie aus:

- Laufendes Masterstudium im Bereich Computer Science / Informatik, Data Science, Mathematik, Statistik oder ähnliches
- Idealerweise Erfahrung in der Planung und Durchführung von fragenbogenbasierten Studien
- Gute Kenntnisse in Datenanalysen mittels R Studio
- Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung von quantitativen Modellen bzw. Bereitschaft sich diese anzueignen
- Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft und Teamfähigkeit
- Gute Sprachkenntnisse Englisch und Deutsch in Wort & Schrift

Eine Vergütung von EUR 828;
