**LEGAL COUNSEL (M/F/d)**

As SILENT-YACHTS we introduced the new e-ra of yachting by setting up a serial production for solar powered luxury catamarans. Our mission is to create an independent and environmentally friendly yachting experience which combines the silent cruising of a sailing boat with the luxury of a motor yacht. With the help of solar power, we are manifesting this mission day by day. Therefore, as one of the most innovative companies within the entire nautical industry, we are seeking a skilled and ambitious **Legal Counsel** **(M/F/d)** for an immediate entry (fulltime).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide expert legal support to the company on a variety of corporate matters such as contract law, corporate governance, compliance issues
- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of contracts and agreements with various stakeholders.
- Support in managing the company’s litigation strategy and coordinate with outside counsel as necessary.
- Advise on potential risks and liabilities of proposed business decisions and propose alternative courses of action.
- Ensure the company operates in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Support development of company policy and position on legal issues.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completed studies in business law
- Ideally knowledge of international maritime law
- Ideally first professional experience as in-house counsel
- Strong knowledge of Austrian law with focus on contract law
- High degree of accuracy, negotiation skills and independence
- Team spirit and hands-on mentality
- Proactive communication talent with an analytical and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- High willingness to travel
- Confident, charismatic and convincing demeanor
- Ability to work independently in an organized and committed manner
- Engaging Team Player with a “Game Changer” attitude and a “hands on” mentality
- Experienced with Microsoft Office
