The Ellis group uses functional genetics and cell biological approaches to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms that govern growth control in complex tissues during development and disease. We seek an experienced technician to support experiments in mouse models.

**About the position**

A significant component of the role involves ultrasound-guided nanoinjection and survival surgery. The role also entails day-to-day mouse colony management and upkeep of electronic records. Other techniques involved include tissue harvest/prep for downstream experiments, and basic molecular biology techniques. This is a full
- time position; however, the possibility of contracts with fewer working hours can be discussed (20 hours minimum). The initial contract is for one year, but ideally, would be extended for multiple years. Offered salary is in accordance with FWF guidelines.- Hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Molecular Biology (or any equivalent vocational training)-
- Hold a FELASA certificate (or equivalent) - Have at least one year of prior laboratory experience, including comfort handling mice-
- Be fluent in English (the working language of the institute)-
- Be comfortable in German (the working language of the animal house)**Application**
