You can learn more about the world of OMV below: **Our business** **Your role**: - You support project portfolio management on procurement side during the whole process and you are preparing relevant information and decisional documents for Steering Committees - You manage definition of contracting strategy for particular projects, detailing the overall contract strategy as of TG2 (SELECT > DEFINE > EXECUTE) and manage respective tenders for engineering contracts in collaboration with Engineering Category - You manage and steer procurement activities for particular projects/programs, develop and align respective "Project Supply Plans" (PSP) - You align sourcing-/tender strategy for "Long Lead Items" (LLI´s) and time critical equipment with responsible/designated category within Procurement - You steer procurement activities within "Source-to-Contract" (involve in preparation of bidder-lists, provide award recommendation incl. presentation to "Sourcing Councils", etc.) and "Purchase-to-Pay" (coordinate and monitor PRs, steer desk expediting activities) together with the Categories - You steer contract management, change management and steer and coordinate claim management incl. all claim activities (lead in close alignment with Project Manager and /or Project Owner) and convocation of Claims Councils (incorporation of Legal Department)., experts for root-case-analysis etc.) for complex claims or if claims escalates. - You act as a single point of contact and assume responsibility for all procurement activities within the project (Manager and Project Owner) - You ensure procurement governance compliance within projects and advise Project Owner in Gate Keeping / Project Assurance process; participate on IGR´s (Peer) if nominated - You contribute to project close-out activities and lessons-learned workshops and grant sufficient and sustainable project documentation in systems/database on hand - You integrate HSSE aspects as addressed in the Procurement Directive throughout all stages of the procurement processes and in all areas of your responsibility **Your profile**: - You have a university degree - preferably in a technical study or a study like Business Administration and at least 9 years of experience - You have a profound procurement knowledge regarding state-of-the-art procurement processes & procedures ("Source-to-Contract" and especially tendering process, "Purchase-to-Pay"; POs, Claim Management etc.) - You have expertise in supplier management (benchmarking, build-up of new/development of existing markets) - You have international experience in "project procurement" (management and execution of projects, plant construction, Oil - & Gas, Energy, Water, alternative energies etc.) in general - You have basic logistics skills (Incoterms, supply-chain management, customs clearance, international document management etc.) - You are experienced in leadership and management, specifically in managing cross-functional multi-cultural global teams without having (direct) reporting line relationship**What to expect from OMV**: - We believe that we can only evolve and thrive as a company with a highly diverse mix of employees and by ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
