For our office in Graz, AUSTRIA, we are looking for a **System Architect (M/F/d)**
- Team: R&D Tower
- Location: Graz, Austria
- Position: full time, experienced to expert level

As a System Architect, you will be part of a scaled agile, cross-functional team realizing our Air Traffic Management and Tower Systems to increase safety, efficiency and reliability on airports worldwide. You will be responsible for defining and evolving architectural solutions for our products, deriving a good balance between stakeholder requirements, technical requirements and economic decision making.

**Your main responsibilities are**:

- Define and evolve the system architecture for our products, aligning it with the development teams and stakeholders
- Take ownership of the architectural runway, coordinate it with product management, stakeholders and business leaders, keeping economic aspects in mind
- Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions and act as a role model for business awareness
- Drive and ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Solution Architecture, Corporate Standards, Technology Trends and Safety Requirements

**Your Skills**:

- Min. of 5 years working experience as a Senior Software Developer and Technical Architect
- Professional skills in working in a high-level programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Python, Scala) and working with Linux as an OS
- Practical expertise in architectural frameworks and processes, microservices and event-based architecture
- Practical experience working with cloud technologies, virtualization and container technologies (e.g. Azure, K8S)
- Good know how and experience in working with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, LeSS)
- Expertise in managing international project teams and a track record of successful complex product development realization projects

Due to legal reasons in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is min. EUR 4000. per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on your qualification, experience and skills and market-oriented salaries and is therefore above the stated minimum salary.
