Scrum Master - Digital Services

Overview

At Sportradar we’ve experienced a wonderful period of sustained hypergrowth through a highly focused strategy based upon industry leading product innovation. To continue this trajectory, we’re searching for an Scrum Master to join the engineering team.

Reporting to the Agile Transformation Director, this role will be as Scrum Master within Digital Services’ DXP product squads. This role sits within the Delivery and Evolution practice which has been set up to continuously improve business agility by equipping the organization with insight and frameworks to support collaboration, alignment, fast decision-making and learning.

A key focus will be supporting the two squads in executing and maturing their scrum/SDLC process and working with key stakeholders to provide the visibility of the progress and impediments requiring focus and support.

In a growing organization the need for business agility is increasing every day, something we would like your help to handle. As a Scrum Master your goal is to focus on improvements in the area of lean/agile not only for the teams but the organization as well.

The challenge
- Influence the ways of working.
- Facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies: daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and other activities as needed.
- Working directly with the Product Owner and Product Squad.
- Identifying Product Team improvement opportunities and looks externally for best practices in order to increase team effectiveness and overall product quality.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
- Building trusted and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Creating a continuous learning and development environment.
- Supporting teams in focusing on measurable business outcomes.
- Helping teams to capture agile KPIs to drive the agile mindset.
- Coaching, mentoring and facilitating autonomous, cross-functional teams.
- Educating the teams and organization on agile values and their meaning to everyday work.
- Supporting the team to reach high level of self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery.
