Head of Product Management

 We're looking for a Head of Product to lead the direction of our flagship product, Philips SpeechLive, as we expand into Legal AI and Health AI. You will shape the vision, guide execution, and work closely with a focused product organisation consisting of one Product Manager, two Product Owners, and a Technical Documentation Specialist, collaborating alongside three Scrum teams in Engineering. This role blends strategic leadership with close involvement in the product work that drives real impact.

What you'll do:

• Define and execute the software product strategy for SpeechLive, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities, exploring emerging technologies, and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement across product & development teams.
• Lead and mentor the product management team, building a culture of ownership, innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle - from market research and ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely, high-quality product development.
• Act as a key stakeholder for the organization in prioritizing demands, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, challenges, and expectations, ensuring customer-centric product development.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and customer support to gather feedback and refine product offerings.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape.
• Define clear KPIs and use data to measure product success, inform decisions, and guide continuous optimization.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in software product management, ideally within B2B SaaS and product-led contexts.
• Experience balancing strategic product leadership with involvement in day-to-day product work where needed.
• Strong capability to work within and guide smaller, focused product and engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and modern software development processes.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills—able to translate insights into clear priorities and decisions.
• Leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities; you know how to empower people and bring out their best work, connecting them to a bigger vision.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principle and the ability to collaborate closely with design and engineering teams. 
• Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• In accordance with the collective agreement for the Electrical- and Electronics Industry, the minimum base salary for this role is € 72000 gross per year. The actual compensation package will be tailored to your experience and qualifications
