In a typical day as Sales Specialist Compute you
- Serve as a trusted advisor and Compute expert to the assigned existing and new accounts.
- Demonstrate business and sales leadership by building mutually beneficial relationships with the account on all levels to grow HPE Compute market share.
- Drive Compute revenues, profitability, and pipeline by growing your accounts.
- Qualify and review new leads to drive sales opportunities to closure.
- Work with partners/ internal account team to ensure a smooth sales transaction.
- Build targeted sales pipeline and forecast data driven sales activities.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/economics)
- Typically 3+ years of selling experience at end-user account or channels level
- Solid knowledge of HPE's compute solutions and solid skills to pitch our solutions in front of partners and customers
- Profound experience in developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
- Ability to look forward and anticipate customer needs, proactively forecasting sales quota and effectively bridging sales gaps
- Specialist level account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines
- Innovative mindset to think beyond proscribed solutions, and take proactive steps to advance HPE's sales efforts
- Proficient usage skills in a CRM system to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them
- Business fluent German and English language skills

We are legally obliged to quote the KV minimum salary (related to KV Handel für Angestellte) for the position with a fix salary of € 3.139 p.m. gross (38,5 h/w).
The role is in an OTE salary scheme. We aim at € OTE annual (60:40, all-in) with the willingness to pay significantly more depending on individual experience and qualification.
