is expanding into Austria and we're looking for a
Business Development manager, Cisco Security
to help us establish and grow our local presence.
This is a unique opportunity to join a financially strong, technically advanced, and people-focused company, and to play a key role in bringing the Alef brand and Cisco expertise to a new market.
What you'll do
- Development of sales and distribution of
Cisco security technology
(products) and related services in Austria. - Build and strengthen relationships with
Cisco, customers, and channel partners - Identify new business opportunities
and lead customer acquisition initiatives - Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals
- Partner closely with Account Managers to amplify sales performance
- Support partners and clients in the pre-sales phase with technical and business insights
- Manage vendor relationships, marketing activities, and available development funds
- Educate the market and internal teams on new Cisco offerings and innovations
- Team up with commercial and technical experts to design and deliver high-value customer solutions
What you bring
- Minimum
3 years of experience
in business development, vendor, or distribution roles - Deep understanding of
IT sales cycles, service models and channel ecosystems - Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Fluent German
and
English
(written and spoken) - Genuine interest in technology and digital transformation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a growing regional team
