As a Live Chat Agent (f/m/x), you are the first point of contact for global customers, providing quick and professional support while generating leads for our sales teams. If you enjoy clear communication, customer interaction, and working in an international setting, this role is a great fit.

Job Description

• Facilitate and process customer requests by providing information directly, or gathering full contact information so the appropriate person can respond, via Anton Paar's Live Chat Portal
• Provide professional first-level support by answering customer questions regarding product advice, application topics, and service-related issues
• Document leads and support tickets in CRM following defined processes
• Transfer and assign contact form inquiries from the corporate website to the appropriate sales subsidiaries or distribution partners for timely follow-up
• Maintain the sales inbox and forward requests in accordance with established workflows
• Ensure reliable Live Chat coverage on working days from 07:00 to 16:00

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL or similar) and strong business understanding
• Excellent English skills; additional languages are an advantage
• Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced digital communication environment
• Strong written communication skills ensuring clear and concise text-based dialogue
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., SAP CRM) is an advantage
• Structured, independent, and responsible work style

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2,700 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
