In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing supplier networks, formulating procurement strategies, and ensuring the reliable delivery of biomass raw materials across Austria. The position offers a balance between fieldwork and home-based work

Location: Austria | Hybrid (Field + Home Office)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand the company's biomass business operations in Austria
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams, including neighboring countries, to support cross-border trade
  • Work with the headquarters in Prague to shape and implement business strategy locally
  • Monitor market trends and competition; provide data-driven recommendations for growth
  • Build and manage a high-performing local team

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Country Manager, etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of the Austrian biomass market and its business dynamics or an experience in similar industries, like agriculture commodities trade or wood processing
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficient in English (minimum B1 level – both written and spoken)
  • Valid driver's license (Category B) and willingness to travel regularly
