AI Product Manager/Engineer

Red Bull Media House is an award-winning, globally distributed multi-platform media company on a mission to inspire with 'beyond the ordinary' stories - both direct-to-consumer and through partnerships. With a focus on sports, culture and lifestyle content, Red Bull Media House offers a wide range of premium media products across TV, mobile, digital, audio, and print. 

We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. We operate over a hundred different applications and tools; from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe.

APPLYING AI

PRODUCT MANGEMENT & ENGINEERING

As an AI Product Manager/Engineer, you'll transform ideas and prototypes into innovative, scalable, and secure products that deliver measurable value. You'll ensure that AI-driven solutions are robust, user-friendly, compliant and seamlessly integrated into our enterprise stack. With a product mindset and technical expertise, you'll focus on delivering solutions that set new standards in the media industry and empower our teams to achieve more.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

As part of our dedicated research and development team, you'll drive innovation by exploring emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to disrupt or improve existing workflows. Through market research and experimentation, you'll develop proofs of concept to demonstrate new approaches. Collaborating with value-stream teams, you'll help scale these ideas into production-ready solutions, ensuring Red Bull Media House remains at the forefront of media innovation.

Experience in user research and talking to stakeholders to bridge the gap between the problem of a user and actual AI implementation options

Proven experience in developing AI-powered solutions, from research to production-ready implementation. 

Strong foundation in modern AI/ML frameworks, patterns and tooling, especially in Generative AI, covering concepts like prompt engineering, RAG, LLM as a judge, fine-tuning, and so on.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferrable AWS) and LLMOps & MLOps pipelines for deploying and scaling AI solutions. 

Expertise in model optimization and evaluation techniques to build robust AI workflows.

Solid skills in Python (or other relevant languages) and practical experience in applying modern software engineering patterns (like version control systems, merge requests, pair-/mob-programming, testing)

Strong interest and basic knowledge about Agentic AI and agentic architectures

Strong communication skills, able to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines

Enjoy owning the problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done

Affinity for media and broadcast domain is a plus

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2446 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
