Exciting Opportunity for SQL Developer to join our client Your new company Exciting Opportunity for MS SQL SERVER (T-SQL) DATABASE DEVELOPER to join our reputed client based in Melbourne, Interstate. Candidates with valid working rights are welcome to apply. The start date will be ASAP and will be for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility for extension. Only Australian Citizen are Eligible to secure this role. Your new role To be successful as an MS SQL Server Database Developer, you will demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills as well good experience working in agile environments and deep knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL. Key Responsibilities:• Investigating, resolving and prioritisation of scoped items in collaboration with management• Work closely with the business, other IT resources and vendor partners to ensure that Delivery is managed, using Iterative methodologies and ceremonies, aligned to agreed priorities and available capacity• Implementing working practices to support iterative/agile development and/or cloud-based applications• Monitoring performance of databases and applications• Ensuring identification and reporting of Key Constraints, Assumptions, Risks, Dependencies, and Issues derived from project/business requirements• Working with the IT & business stakeholders to determine key business needs / requirements and ensuring appropriate options are considered to apply the approved remediation treatments What you'll need to succeed Tertiary qualifications - Business / IT or equivalent Hands on experience in SQL Server and T-SQL Language ITIL Certification favourable Experience with writing T-SQL Queries, Functions and Stored Procedures Some experience with .Net framework and development of Web API Service/B2B Integration technologies such as SOAP/REST Some experience with Microsoft Access Forms and VBA is desirable but not required Proven experience in delivering technology solutions/products What you'll get in return An opportunity to work with our professionals services clientWork on meaningful projectsExcellent daily rates ($750 to $800) and long term contract What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to neeta.sharma@hays.com.au or call us now.
