National Operations Manager

Ready Industries (trading as 1300TempFence) is a national leader in temporary fencing, hoarding and site security solutions across Australia. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a highly capable National Operations Manager to partner closely with our General Manager – Operations and strengthen performance across our branch network. This is a hands-on, senior leadership role suited to an operational leader who thrives in multi-site environments and enjoys working with leaders on the ground to lift capability, consistency and results. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, the National Operations Manager will act as a trusted operational partner across our national branch network. You will work closely with Branch and Operations Managers to embed best-practice processes, develop leaders, and drive consistent operational performance across all business units. This role requires extensive travel and a strong presence in the field. You will be instrumental in bridging strategy and execution, mentoring leaders, and supporting operational improvement initiatives across Australia. Key Responsibilities Partner with the GM – Operations to drive national operational strategy and execution Travel nationally to coach, mentor and develop Branch and Operations Managers Implement and embed operational processes, standards and systems across branches Assess branch performance and provide data-driven insights and recommendations Step into branch or operational leadership roles during transitions or absences Support onboarding and capability development for new leaders Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety and customer outcomes Work with key stakeholders to resolve operational, stock, invoicing and service challenges About You You are a pragmatic, commercially minded operations leader with strong people leadership capability and experience in multi-site operational environments. You will likely bring: Senior operational leadership experience (State, Regional or National Operations) Strong coaching and mentoring capability for frontline and branch leaders Experience in logistics, construction, hire, manufacturing, services or similar operational sectors Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical actions High resilience, adaptability and comfort working in dynamic environments Willingness to travel extensively across Australia Why Join Ready Industries?
