The Talent Attraction Unit, situated within the Organisational Development Branch, is responsible for building effective, diverse and sustainable talent pipelines that support SAPOL's strategic workforce priorities. The unit applies a holistic and inclusive approach to talent attraction, generating awareness, building consideration, and fostering intent through three integrated portfolios : Events and Partnerships, Recruitment Marketing, and School Pathways and Engagement. Activities driven by the unit are strategically aligned with organisational goals and delivered using innovative, contemporary methods that resonate with key demographic segments. The unit is committed to future‑focused initiatives that reflect best practice in attracting top talent and engagement methods. Responsibilities The Pathways and Engagement Coordinator supports the delivery of SAPOL's pathways and engagement strategy by coordinating and implementing initiatives that build early talent pipelines and promote SAPOL as an employer of choice. Reporting to the Pathways and Engagement Lead, this role works collaboratively with schools, education providers and community partners to deliver targeted outreach, engagement activities and recruitment‑focused events. The position plays a key role in strengthening SAPOL's visibility across diverse communities, supporting inclusive recruitment outcomes and contributing to long‑term workforce capability. Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check. The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some out of hours work and inter/intra state travel may be required. The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program. Salary ASO6 – $98,478 – $104,165 per annum.
